How it works
Live on your store in a few minutes.
Install from the Shopify App Store, sync your store, switch on the chat embed and set up handoff. It all happens inside your Shopify admin, and Chablyy never edits your theme’s code.
Step 1
Install and choose a plan
Add Chablyy from the Shopify App Store and sign in with Shopify. There’s no separate account or password. Pick a plan and approve it on Shopify.

Step 2
Sync your store
Chablyy imports your products, variants, inventory, store policies and pages. A store-essentials checklist shows what’s covered and what’s missing, so you can fill the gaps before shoppers find them.
- Catalog and inventory stay current through Shopify webhooks
- Shipping, returns, contact, about, size chart, privacy and terms
- Only active, published products are used
Step 3
Turn on the chat
Switch on the Chablyy Chat app embed in your theme editor and save. Chablyy only reads your theme to check the embed is on, and never writes to it. Try it as a shopper first with “Preview as shopper”.

Step 4
Set up handoff
Decide who’s notified when a shopper asks for a person. Those chats land in your inbox under “Needs reply”, ready for you to take over.

- Write the message shoppers see when they’re handed off
- Take over, assign a teammate, or hand the chat back to the AI

Let shoppers check their orders
Turn on order lookup and logged-in shoppers can ask “Where’s my order?” right in the chat. It’s read-only: Chablyy shows status and tracking, nothing more. You approve the extra access in Shopify first.

Enabling the app embed
Setup includes a button that takes you straight there. Doing it by hand takes three steps:
- 1In your Shopify admin, open Online Store, then Themes, then Customize.
- 2In the theme editor’s left sidebar, open App embeds.
- 3Switch on Chablyy Chat and click Save.

Does Chablyy change my theme?
No. Chablyy is a theme app embed: you switch it on or off in the theme editor, and it never edits your theme’s code.
Can I try it before shoppers see it?
Yes. Use “Preview as shopper” during setup to open your storefront with the chat on. Shoppers don’t see the chat until setup is complete.
Can I turn it off?
Yes. Switch off the Chablyy Chat app embed in your theme editor whenever you like.
What happens if I uninstall?
Uninstalling Chablyy revokes its access to your store and ends your subscription.
